The Warmup Story

Be the Windbearer

In a small village nestled between two towering mountains, there was a tree known as the Windbearer. Unlike the other trees, which were tall and robust, the Windbearer was slender, and its branches seemed fragile. Every storm season, roaring winds would sweep through the valley, and while the other trees stood firm, the Windbearer swayed dramatically. The villagers often predicted its fall, but every time the storm passed, the Windbearer still stood, its roots digging deeper and branches reaching higher.

One year, a particularly fierce storm hit the village. The next morning, many strong trees were uprooted, but the Windbearer, although battered, remained standing. A wise elder, reflecting on this, gathered the villagers and said, "Strength isn't just about resisting challenges head-on but about adapting, learning, and growing from them. Just like the Windbearer, resilience isn’t shown in staying rigid but in dancing with the winds of adversity and emerging stronger after every storm."
