Mindset Workout 5: Reflection
Reflection turns games into growth. You notice patterns, adjust habits, and come back sharper. Use this workout to build a learn-every-play habit that compounds all season.
âś… Hacks to Implement:
-
"Learn and Adjust" Cue —After whistles, glance at your wristband/shoelace mark and say, “Learn & adjust,” then name one tiny tweak for the next possession.
-
Two Line Review —Post-game, write two lines: “What worked” and “Next tweak.” Keep it under 60 seconds; consistency beats perfection.
-
Targeted Intent —Pre-game, set one tactical goal (e.g., “hit the roller twice,” “two paint touches per quarter”) and check it at halftime.
đź’ˇ Action Step:
Create your three personal reflection hacks (use the examples above or tailor your own) and email them to [email protected] before you leave.
