Mindset Workout 1: Grit
Grit is your game-day engine. It’s the ability to keep competing when you’re tired, stay locked in under pressure, and fight for one more possession—again and again. Use this workout to rehearse gritty moments before they happen so your habits show up when it counts.
âś… Hacks to Implement:

“One More Stop” Cue — When fatigue creeps in, whisper or say, “One more stop,” before the trip down the floor to trigger full-effort defense and rebound pursuit through the possession.

Pressure Reset —Two slow breaths → light slap to chest → say your mantra: “Play through fatigue.” Use this before late-game or high-leverage possessions.

Wrist Reminder — Pre-game, write FIGHT on your wrist tape or shoe. Glance at it during timeouts/changeovers to reignite effort and focus.
