Mindset Workout 3: Emotional Regulation
Tennis is as much emotional as it is physical. Big points can trigger nerves, tighten muscles, and cause errors. Emotional regulation is the skill of noticing those feelings and choosing calm. This workout will help you stay composed and confident when the moment is biggest .
✅ Hacks to Implement:

Game-Day Cue — Touch your strings, exhale fully, and say, “Calm body, sharp mind.”

Pressure Reset — Take three slow breaths, bounce the ball three times, and repeat your mantra: Calm equals clutch.

Pre-Match Cue — Do a 30-second meditation or controlled breathing exercise before your warm-up .
