Mindset Workout 4: Resilience

Resilience is the “next-play” mindset. Missed shots, turnovers, bad calls—reset faster than your opponent and you reclaim the game’s momentum. Use this workout to make bouncing back automatic.

âś… Hacks to Implement:

  1. "Next Play" Cue —After any mistake, tap your chest once and say, “Next play,” while sprinting to your defensive spot—no looking back.

  2. One Breath Rule —One deep breath → clap once → communicate the coverage (“I’ve got ball!”). Convert frustration into leadership.

  3. Locker Token —Place a small symbol (note, coin, wristband) in your locker/bag. See it pre-game and at halftime to reinforce your bounce-back identity.
