Mindset Workout 3: Emotional Regulation
Composure turns pressure into execution. When emotions spike, your breath, routine, and words steer your body back to smooth, confident play. Use this workout to rehearse calm so your skills show up in clutch moments.
âś… Hacks to Implement:

"Calm Body, Smart Mind" Cue —Touch your jersey, exhale fully, and say the phrase before free throws or critical inbound plays.

3x3 Reset —Three slow breaths → bounce the ball three times (or three fingertip taps) → eyes on target; then flow into your shot or action.

30-Second Anchor —Pre-game, take 30 seconds of box breathing (4-in, 4-hold, 4-out, 4-hold) to set a calm baseline you can return to during timeouts.
